Friends’ Preschool
and Elementary school are fully accredited by the Association
of Colorado Independent Schools (ACIS). In addition, our
Preschool is accredited by the National
Association for the Education of the Young Child (NAEYC.) Friends’ School
is also an active member of the National
Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). These organizations hold the highest standards for education.
The
State of Colorado does not set academic standards or requirements
for independent elementary schools. The Department of Social
Services and the Health Department license our facilities,
Preschool program
and After Care Program to ensure safety and responsible practices.
