 PRESCHOOL INFORMATION MEETINGS for PROSPECTIVE PARENTS

Come meet our exceptional teachers and learn about our creative, hands-on learning experience for children ages 3-5. Each meeting will begin with a tour of our facility, followed by a curriculum presentation by our Preschool teachers and a Q&A session.

PRAISE, MOTIVATION & RESILIENCY

Help your children develop healthy attitudes toward learning. Find out the importance of intrinsic motivation and gaining satisfaction from effort and how you, as a parent, can help your children look forward to challenges, take appropriate risks, and bounce back when things don’t go their way. Understand how too much or the wrong kind of praise can backfire and create a sense of failure.
Presenter Christie Stanford has a Master’s degrees in Educational Psychology, has taught Masters level classes through U.C. Denver and has presented on several occasions at the state conference of the Colo. Assoc. for the Education of Young Children. Christie has recently been published in Young Children (Journal of the NAEYC, has taught preschool for over 15 years, and currently serves as Co-Director of Friends’ Preschool Program. |
