Friends School, like most independent schools, relies on the voluntary generosity of the entire community to support our school. Every gift, regardless of size, makes an impact. Questions about Giving? Contact Lou Bendrick, Director of Development at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Friends School offers several gift programs that allow donors a simple way to designate their contributions to a specific school need. Our established gift programs include the Friends Fund, the Endowment Fund, the Polly T. Donald Fund, and Planned Giving. Learn more about each of these programs below.
Ways to Give
Gifts of cash are the most common form of support. Cash donations may be made by check or credit card. Friends’ accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
A gift of stock or other securities not only benefits Friends School, but also can have significant tax advantages for the donor as well. Be sure to consult with your financial advisor to determine whether such a gift might be practical.
Many companies offer matching funds for their employees. At Friends School we raise thousands of dollars through these gifts. Please contact your employer’s human resources office to determine matching gift eligibility and program terms.
GIFTS IN KIND
Any gift of an item needed by the school, such as computer technology, art supplies, or athletic equipment, is considered a Gift In Kind.
