Giving & Support

Friends School, like most independent schools, relies on the voluntary generosity of the entire community including parents, alumni families, grandparents, friends, corporations, and foundations to support our school. Every gift, regardless of size makes an impact. Your donation directly enhances each child’s education.
The Annual Fund is Friends School's top fundraising priority. It supports the current operations of the school including a variety of programs at Friends, such as academics, professional development, classroom supplies, technology, salaries and benefits, field trips, and our sliding scale tuition and financial aid. The Annual Fund begins each year on July 1 and ends on June 30. Click here to make a gift to the Annual Fund

Friends School’s Auction, held each spring, is a major fundraiser and a fun, community-building event for parents. Proceeds from the event provide significant enhancements to school programs and support financial aid.

The Friends School Endowment Fund generates income through investment of the principal. This income is used to support school priorities, thus relieving pressure for tuition increases. Donations to the Endowment Fund are welcome and much appreciated. Click here to donate to the Endowment Fund

Polly T. Donald Enrichment Fund
In honor of former Head of School Polly T. Donald's 17 years of service to Friends, the school has established The Polly T. Donald Enrichment Fund to support a teacher and/or staff member to pursue an activity or passion that will invigorate him or her. Activities might include learning an instrument, a new language or skill. Click here to make a gift to the Polly T. Donald Enrichment Fund

Fifth Grade Legacy Fund

The graduating fifth grade class has a long tradition of raising money for the Fifth Grade Legacy Fund to show their appreciation for their education and to give back to the school. As each graduating class and their families contribute to The Fund, it grows and supports the fifth grade experiences for future fifth grade students, such as a 5-day field trip and a theatrical production.
