My home is in the minds of children. I am fascinated by how we as people learn, and I am so excited to begin my teaching career at Friends School. I have worked with kids in a variety of contexts including hosting after-school care, as a summer camp counselor, and as a preschool paraeducator; but to be training as a teacher and learning how to best support students and their families is an honor and a dream come true. It is my goal as a teacher to help my students see the unending potential within themselves, loving themselves, each other, and this planet we live on.
Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, I earned my Bachelor’s of Art from Columbia College of Chicago. Moving to Colorado in 2014, I immediately fell in love with Boulder and have called it home ever since. I enjoy hiking, camping, cooking, and bluegrass music. My son, Oscar is one year old and he is such a light in my life. We also have a dog named Nala who could probably take or leave the bluegrass music.
