Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA - BA Policy Management
Director of Development
I’m honored to support the values and mission of such a special school through my role in the advancement office. I started volunteering at Friends in 2012 when my youngest child entered Kindergarten. As my son flourished and fell in love with learning, I fell in love with the Friends School community and became the Annual Fund co-chair, an auction volunteer and development committee member.
I originally hail from Pennsylvania where I graduated from Dickinson College with a BA in Policy Management. Before coming to Friends, I was a reporter, writer, editor and author. Later, I entered marketing as a voice over professional. My passion for progressive education began when my oldest child (now in high school), entered preschool. Since then I have volunteered and served on many committees in public, charter and independent schools, co-authored a school guidebook, and worked on the XQ Super School Project to propose an innovative high school in the Boulder Valley. I’m passionate about empowering girls to lead and recently helped found a local chapter of the National Charity League.
Personally, I’m a voracious reader who enjoys gardening, baking, travel and painting. When I’m not at Friends, I’m often outside with my husband, kids and big sensitive dog.
