Maureen Espinoza spends her professional time both at her private legal practice and teaching the Gyrotonic® method. She has lived in Boulder for the better part of 22 years, receiving her BA in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Colorado in 1999. She worked as an outdoor educator and naturalist at various programs including the Colorado Outward Bound School and the Keystone Science School from 1996-2002. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2004. Maureen speaks Spanish and has been a passionate advocate for the rights of Latina women. She and her husband Jorge have two daughters, Sylvia and Carmen, and their family prioritizes movement and music.
