University of Colorado, Boulder - MA, Education
I’m very pleased to join the welcoming faculty at Friends in the role of Substitute Coordinator. As an educator myself, I’m glad to be in a position that allows me to work in the field while spending time with my two daughters. I grew up in New Hampshire, and moved to Boulder in 2004 in search of sunshine and big mountains. I found both, and also met my husband and went to graduate school here. After earning a MA in Education at CU, I taught middle school and high school English and Reading Intervention in Denver Public Schools until my first daughter was born, when I left the classroom to stay home with her. My daughters currently attend Friends’ (one in pre-K, and one in the toddler program), and we love being part of the Friends’ community. In my spare time, I love to read, write, cook, and spend time outside with my family.
