Thatcher is the Founder & CEO of Juniper Books. Since 2001, Thatcher has explored the value books bring us, how they take up space in our homes, and how best to feature what we love about books in new, creative ways. Today, Juniper Books crafts custom book collections for purchase and creates and designs custom libraries for a variety of clients. The company works with interior designers, architects, and builders in over 50 countries. Previously, Thatcher was the Founder & CEO of a venture capital funded online customer service company, the Director of Business Development for a pioneer website developer, and a Strategy Consultant for Monitor Company.
Thatcher is the parent of two children, one a Friends School graduate, the other currently a Middle School Student. He was previously a Trustee and Chair of the Board of Jarrow Montessori School in Boulder. Thatcher is the author of The Twelve Monotasks: Do One Thing at a Time to Do Everything Better and the co-author of For the Love of Books: Designing and Curating a Home Library. When he’s not reading, writing, or curating book collections, Thatcher loves to hike, bike, and ski!
